Abstract
The Apostle Paul was a controversial Christian figure. He is a big and important figure in Christianity who is very influential. Paul's thoughts contained in the letter he wrote were many thoughts about the thoughts that became the basis of thought in Christian theology. One of the things that is often debated in Paul's teaching is about circumcision. In Romans 2: 28-29 Paul accepts the fact that true Judaism and true circumcision are inner realities, and are not related to genital circumcision. By using a literature study research method the author tries to collect data from several literatures that discuss circumcision, comparing the concept of heart circumcision from Romans 5: 28-29 with the concept of circumcision from the Old Testament. The circumcision of the heart that Paul spoke of was at the heart of the planning of the law.
